  1. RESTful Engine does not support ReportText!

We current switched from the .NET engine to the RESTful engine and discovered that we lost the ability to create Text reports. For some reason the RESTful engine does not support this simple file output. Can you please put this feature into the RESTful engine? We have many customers that require text reports that are directly loaded into mainframes and/or other hardware and we can't provide any other file format.

  3. PDF/A-3 support

    Dear Windward team,

the Java engine already has the ability to render PDF/A-1b compliant files. Would it be possible to extend it to other PDF/A conformance levels, mainly PDF/A-3?

    Thank you very much!

  4. Encrypt PDF Output in Windward Solo

I am a new Windward Solo user. We love what we are seeing; we need to deliver individual PDF documents which are password protected via email. It's confidential financial info. We will have the password in the batch select query. The recipient will know the password as we will describe in the email body text. In working with Kelly (your support), we came up with the idea of adding a check box next to PDF when selected as an output option, then having a field where a field can be selected from the batch select (plus perhaps the ability to…

  5. Excel report result file is not adjusting the size of the cell based on data length

We are generating report in excel and facing one issue related to size of the cell based on data length.
Report is not displaying complete data in cell as length/width of cell is not adjusting by windward report automatically based on data length.

  6. Maven dependencies

On your page https://ohana.windwardstudios.com/m/79484/l/1035755-how-do-i-use-maven-to-install-windward-java-engine-in-my-application#locate-your-settings-xml-file you state that the repository should be added to your settings.xml file. This is not convenient for teams, because settings.xml is personal (not stored in e.g. Git) and sometimes contains passwords or tokens.

Putting the repository in your project's pom.xml ensures everyone has the same repository (because this file is in Git) and prevents problems with new members.
